COLD BOXES
Any of Penn's modular walk-in units can be designed to accomodate your specific refrigerated storage needs.
A tightly-sealed form-fitting unit is further assured by molding the urethane into
a tongue and groove on opposite edges.
Coved interior corners (1/2" radius) conform to N.S.F. requirements.
For a door location, the 1/2" cove is cut away in that section to allow a level entrance into the walk-in.
All of Penn's outdoor applications can be furnished with either a flat or sloped roof. Penn's
sloped roof provides a 1/4" per foot slope to remove rain and snow loads that can accumulate
on the roof of an outdoor application. Penn exclusively uses the Duro-Last roofing system
on all outdoor applications. Duro-Last, the leader in single ply pre-fabricated roofing systems,
specializes in a membrane roofing application ideal for providing a leakproof seal on all
of Penn's outdoor units.
WAREHOUSES
If you need refrigerated warehouse facilities and want to save substantially on construction
costs, a sectioanl warehouse could be the answer. All you need is a concrete slab and Penn will
erect its modular components to any size needed. Doors of various sizes and styles can be placed
where needed and the interior can be sectioned into multiple compartments, each with a
different temperature. if necessary.
Penn can coordinate a racking system for refrigerated warehouses to eliminate the need for
perimeter steel andthe inside supports can be used as pallet shelves.
