When ordering a walk-in, it is important to relay all pertinent information to Penn so that your order can be properly processed and fabricated.

Such information includes:

Door hinge (swing)

Exact address of job site
Location of shelving

Refrigeration requirements (Voltage/Phase):

Location of coil
Location of compressor

If the walk-in is to be located between walls, obstructions or recessed areas, be certain at least three inches installation tolerance exists on each dimension.

DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION:

Penn walk-ins are delivered to the installation site on Penn's company owned and operated vehicles anywhere in the Continental United States. Transportation costs are determined by the size of the unit and the distance traveled. Purchasers may then perform their own installation of the walk-in or use Penn's installation service. All Penn drivers are trained, experienced erection mechanics. Penn's erection crew will perform the complete installation, less electrical, and refrigeration. Penn's erection personnel are affiliated with A.F.L. & C.I.O. Building and Trades Council.

If the price quotation includes the use of these mechanics, it will be the responsibility of the buyer to make certain that these mechanics can work on the job site without interference from any other crafts.
